Maintenance Technician

Conquest Personnel Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their team in the South East Suburbs. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective use of machinery, maintenance, and improvement of facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and facilities supervisor to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.
- Ensure all equipment and installations are mechanically safe and compliant with WHS and Quality standards.
- Assist with the planning, removal, relocating, and commissioning of machines.
- Document all maintenance activities and ensure accurate records are kept.
- Fitter and Turner Trade Qualification
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a manufacturing environment with automated machinery and robotics
- Previous experience with breakdowns and preventative maintenance with machinery
- Sound understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems
- Proactive and motivated team player
