Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the New York State Greater Binghamton Health Center. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Job Description

Under supervision, you will perform a variety of tasks requiring light, medium, and heavy physical effort in cleaning and caring for an assigned area. Key responsibilities include:

• Picking up and removing hazardous articles from floors, furniture, and equipment, and placing them in designated receptacles or in appropriate places.
• Moving furniture and equipment in connection with cleaning and care functions.
• Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, including floors, corridors, stairs, stairwells, walls, partitions, windows, and lavatories.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces as needed.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
