Expert Mining Leadership Opportunity

This senior leadership position involves leading complex underground mining engineering studies and providing technical expertise in mine design, scheduling, and strategy. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering consulting projects, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to business development efforts.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, excellent technical communication skills, and a deep understanding of mining project evaluation, technical studies, and financial analysis. They will also have experience working with various mining methods and scales, as well as exposure to different geological conditions, commodities, and mining jurisdictions.

About the Role
  • Lead complex underground mining engineering studies including scoping, PFS, DFS, operational improvement, and due diligence.
  • Provide technical leadership in mine design, scheduling, and optimisation.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted advisor.
  • Prepare technical reports to international standards (JORC, NI 43-101, S-K 1300).
  • Develop proposals, project scopes, and budgets for new engagements.
  • Mentor junior and senior mining engineers and support their technical development.
