About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive the expansion of our Australian operations, fostering growth and innovation within the life sciences sector.

As General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our local business strategy, identifying opportunities for partnerships and ecosystem engagement, and managing relationships with regulatory bodies.

You will be responsible for developing and executing the Australian business plan, positioning us as a leading player in the local market. Your expertise in leadership, stakeholder management, and business development will be essential in driving success.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and manage a high-performing team, foster a culture aligned with our values, and take full accountability for Brisbane's financial performance.

Collaboration with HQ is key, as you will work together to tailor marketing strategies for the Australian market and represent us as our public-facing ambassador.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of success in leadership and business operations within the life sciences industry.

We are looking for someone with a degree qualification in life sciences, business or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience in leadership or business operations.

A higher degree and/or MBA will be highly regarded, as well as a proven track record of success in team leadership, stakeholder management, and business development.
