About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Officer to join our Improvement and Sustainability Unit, part of the Finance Directorate. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the scoping, costing, planning, implementation, delivery, closure, and evaluation of complex projects and initiatives that contribute to priority service redesign, efficiency, and improvement strategies across WCHN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of project plans and strategies to ensure contemporary and operationally efficient outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively and proactively with Divisions, project sponsors, and managers, and other key stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Undertake critical analysis of data and information to support evidence-based decision-making and lead assurance and review activities to ensure ongoing project improvements.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in project/program design and management techniques, methodologies, and related activities.
  • Experience in organizing, managing, and leading complex change projects involving multiple stakeholders from various professions/occupations and levels of seniority.
  • Extensive experience in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships and working cooperatively and constructively with senior staff, stakeholders, and project teams to achieve objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance monitoring and utilizing high-level conceptual and analytical skills.
