Electrical Engineer Opportunity

This is a key role in the delivery of high-voltage substation projects that support the growth of Australia's renewable energy and utility sectors.

As a member of our design team, you will be responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate technical designs while supporting field staff, customers, and colleagues. You will lead complex internal and external secondary system design projects, demonstrating capability of checking secondary system design outputs.

You will also foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment to support team capability growth and play an active role in embedding best practices in our organization. This includes undertaking interstate travel to offices and project sites to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with natural leadership qualities and the ability to bring out the best in others.

About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent & Chartered Status (or the ability to achieve upon commencement)
  • 10+ years experience in the HV power transmission industry
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects in the HV electrical industry
  • Natural leadership qualities and the ability to bring out the best in others
