About Our Early Childhood Teacher Role

At our educational institution, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the position of Early Childhood Teacher. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of our children.

This is a 12-month maternity leave role, with the possibility of extension. We offer a range of benefits, including access to our learning portal, Journey Academy, and opportunities for professional development and leadership advancement.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Centre Manager, who has over 13 years of experience in the sector. You will also be part of a tight-knit centre community, where social activities and family engagement are encouraged.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of early childhood education and care principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to provide guidance and support to educators, while also developing trusting relationships with families.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children up to six years old, a bachelor's degree in Early Education (or equivalent), and current Working with Children Check certification. First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates are also required.
