Job Overview
We are seeking skilled professionals to join our Candidate Pool 2024/2025, contributing to improving patient health outcomes across various sites within the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. Multiple casual positions are available for individuals willing to work flexible hours, including nights.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality nursing care across multiple sites, prioritizing patient needs and coordinating service delivery effectively.
- Plan and implement health education, counseling, and rehabilitation programs to enhance individual patient or group health outcomes.
- Support newer staff members, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses, and other healthcare workers in providing basic nursing care.
Requirements
- Registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in person-centered nursing care, effective communication skills, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, prioritize workload, and be adaptable in a dynamic healthcare setting.
