Lead Systems Integration Engineer

We are seeking a results-driven professional to lead our dynamic systems integration team. This role is responsible for coordinating, designing, developing, and implementing solutions to seamlessly connect different software and hardware systems, applications, and data sources within the organization.

This position involves leading and/or participating in technical projects per established processes. Key responsibilities include designing and developing automated processes for molecular-based diagnostic assays on instrumentation that perform liquid handling, sample processing, and optical signal analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading and/or participating in technical projects.
  • Designing and developing automated processes for molecular-based diagnostic assays.
  • Participating in project teams through design, development, and validation phases.
  • Transforming data from various sources to ensure compatibility and consistency for seamless integration.
  • Defining requirements and test plans, and executing verification and validation tests.
  • Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting issues, and addressing updates.
  • Acting as the primary technical contact for internal/external customers and suppliers during product development.
  • Coordinating work of systems engineers and technicians.
  • Interfacing with external design engineers (internal and/or OEM vendors) to understand system functionality and coordinate implementation of requirements and design specifications.
  • Performing requirements analysis and testing.
  • Developing and compiling report packages to support system verification and validation, including regulatory submissions.
  • Developing detailed failure modes and effects analyses of systems.
  • Coordinating comprehensive technical documentation and user guides.
