Logistics Coordinator for Stores Management in Far North QLD

Maxitool Group specializes in providing shutdown, maintenance, and repair services to clients in the mining and resources industries throughout Australia.

As a Logistics Coordinator for Stores Management, you will play a critical role in managing inventory and store operations effectively.

We are seeking motivated and skilled personnel to join our team and help us establish, develop, and run the tool store and weekly maintenance parts store for fixed plant processing equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring timely replenishment
  • Operating forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently
  • Organizing and maintaining the parts laydown yard, ensuring a clean and organized storage area
  • Utilizing SAP for inventory management and reporting
  • Collaborating with team members to optimize store operations and workflows

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • A casual 8/6 rostered work arrangement, with potential for long-term work and development
  • 12 Hour Shifts – consisting of day shift and night shift
  • Accommodation & messing provided
  • Paid travel time
  • Super paid on all hours worked

About You:

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift ticket (HRWL-LF)
  • Previous experience using SAP for inventory management
  • Production & safety orientated with a focus on achieving results for both you and for the company
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including drug, alcohol, and fitness tests, prior to starting
  • Must have the right to work in Australia

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Mechanical and/or mining background
  • HR Truck License
  • Previous experience in developing new systems and strategies
