**Your Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Broiler Manager to lead our team of Broiler Servicepersons in Southeast QLD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the detailed and diligent servicing of all company and contract broiler farms across the region.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide guidance and support to Broiler Farm Managers across SE QLD, ensuring optimal production standards and compliance with Inghams' Minimum Standard Procedures.
  • Monitor and report on daily operations, driving improvement in performance standards for growth, health, welfare, and feed conversion of broiler farms.
  • Coach the team to ensure a clear understanding of requirements relating to Animal Welfare, Food Safety, and Quality.
  • Oversee catching and transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient supply of live birds to our primary processing plant, maintaining animal welfare standards at the highest level.
  • Manage and monitor logistics contracts, ensuring requirements are met, including liaising with live haul contractors and managing trucks and catching contractors.
  • Ensure animal welfare, quality, and safety (including legislative COR compliance) is maintained during pickup, transport, and lairage.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum 5 years' poultry experience, preferably in Broiler servicing.
  • Previous experience managing a complex of farms and leading teams.
  • Previous experience in transport and logistics with a strong understanding of compliance and safety, particularly in COR.
  • Superior people leadership skills with the ability to build, lead, and develop teams and create a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Strong understanding of broiler and poultry welfare and sound knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements.
  • Experience monitoring compliance such as safety, quality, environmental, biosecurity, and animal welfare.
  • Flexibility to work night and early morning shifts as required.
