About this Opportunity

This is a key role within the Tax and Treasury function for Australia and New Zealand, where you will support and assist with a wide range of activities, including tax reporting, tax processes, tax compliance, tax advisory, management of financial risks, treasury reporting & administration, and insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare quarterly income tax calculations and tax group reporting packages, including tax effect accounting.
  • Prepare annual income tax returns.
  • Prepare monthly GST returns and fuel tax credit calculations.
  • Prepare FBT returns.
  • Provide tax advice to business units and specialist functions.
  • Assist with financial and Group reporting requirements from a treasury perspective, including cashflow forecasting.
  • Assist with transactional banking obligations, including bank platform management.
  • Assist with insurance policy renewals and insurance queries from the business.
About You
  • Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Law.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws.
  • Some exposure to Treasury issues.
  • Understanding of IFRS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and high initiative.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
