Job Opportunity: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our workshop in Maddington. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for completing pre-delivery fit-up on new vehicles prior to delivery to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Completing pre-delivery fit-up on new vehicles
  • Demonstrating high levels of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure quality work
  • Working autonomously with strong communication skills
  • Identifying and communicating defects
  • Meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity

About You:

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A current HR Licence
  • Experience in a heavy road transport service and repair environment
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to communicate identified defects
  • Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously
  • Proven track record of quality workmanship
  • Experience with Mack, UD and/or Volvo products is highly desirable
