Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and eager individual to join our team as an Apprentice Linesperson. As an Apprentice Linesperson, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, including HV and LV power systems, and gain valuable experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct overhead, high and low voltage electrical distribution and HV sub-transmission systems
  • Construct HV & LV under subdivisions
  • Be trained to operate multiple types of plant
  • Have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including in the growing renewables sector; mining; and major road and infrastructure projects.
  • Enjoy access to on-the-job training and mentoring within a rewarding team environment.

Additional Training

  • High Risk Over 11-metre EWP ticket.
  • HR Truck Licence.
  • C6 Crane ticket.
  • Neca ASP 1 Underground Cable joint course and
  • Essential Energy Network Accreditation.

Requirements

  • Open and willing to learn on the job while working on a range of exciting projects.
  • A willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Current Driver's Licence (P1, P2, C Class and above).
  • White card (desirable but not essential).
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Availability to work out of town on occasion.
