Job Description

Role Summary:

The CC Medical organization is seeking a highly experienced Senior Medical Director to lead our Department of Medicine. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to the department, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve departmental performance and achieve organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and coordination of services.
  • Manage and develop a team of medical staff, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure their success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive departmental improvement.

Requirements:

  • Registration as a specialist with AHPRA (FRACP preferred).
  • Recent experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
