Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Solution Architect to contribute to a significant project focused on the implementation of an Enterprise Asset Data Model (EADM). This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful integration and management of asset data across various systems.
Contract Objective:
- Provide expert architectural support for the EADM project.
- Develop a comprehensive asset data model tailored for target systems, ensuring seamless reporting and integration with systems such as SAP, GE Smallworld, ESRI, and Maximo.
Key Deliverables:
- Refined architecture for the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) program.
- Conduct a thorough Security Risk Assessment (SRA) for the project design.
- Collaborate with vendors and project teams to ensure all deliverables meet established standards and expectations.
Core Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager of Architecture Delivery and the Architecture team to fulfill the following:
- Maintain and enhance the current EAM program architecture.
- Ensure project solutions are well-defined, documented, and aligned with stakeholder requirements.
- Deliver a comprehensive Security Risk Assessment (SRA).
- Address architectural inquiries from the project team.
- Provide timely insights to inform architectural decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
- Participate in architectural governance processes to guide critical decisions.
Required Skills:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in fields such as Business Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Extensive experience in ICT solution architecture across multiple domains.
- Strong understanding of IT governance and asset management systems.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
