About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care and support to clients seeking recovery from addiction at our Geelong Withdrawal Unit.

This is a Permanent, Part-time (26.6 Hours Per Week) position based in Corio, Victoria, with a range of shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure clients are fully aware of their treatment plan and inducted into the program.
  • Provide clients with their withdrawal medication and conduct regular clinical observations.
  • Liaise with Police, Ambulance, and other professionals to ensure the safe care of clients.
  • Identify and report any risks to clients, staff, and The Salvation Army, and take appropriate preventative action.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Nursing and a current Div 1 certificate.
  • Cert IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs Competencies CHCAOD 2C, 6B, 8C, 9C, and 10A.
  • A current Victorian Employee Working With Children Check and AHPRA registration.
  • A valid Victorian Driver Licence and experience in AOD sector service delivery.
