About the Role

As a Lead Business Intake Strategist at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's business intake strategy. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and success of our organization.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive business intake strategies that align with industry best practices. You will oversee the design and implementation of enhanced policies, systems, and procedures to ensure seamless business intake processes. Additionally, you will lead the development and maintenance of robust AML/CTF risk assessments and programs to mitigate risks and ensure ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective business intake strategies aligned with industry best practices
  • Develop and maintain robust AML/CTF risk assessments and programs
  • Oversee the implementation of enhanced policies, systems, and procedures
  • Manage day-to-day business intake operations, including client due diligence and stakeholder engagement
  • Supervise the Business Intake Team, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor degree or higher qualification
  • Detailed knowledge of AML/CTF requirements and risks associated with the legal industry
  • Strong experience in designing, managing, and implementing key AML/CTF compliance programs
  • Intapp knowledge and experience is strongly preferred
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with at least 3 years' experience driving successful performance
