Ravenswood School for Girls seeks a skilled Vocal Music Educator to provide high-quality music instruction to our students. We are looking for a passionate and engaging individual who can foster a love of singing in our Junior School girls.

The successful applicant will have experience teaching both Junior and Senior School singers, with a flexible approach to various singing styles and techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the Music Department are essential.

We require a Music Instructor for Junior School Girls who can teach across a range of musical styles and has a particular focus on Junior School aged students. Piano skills to accompany students are a must, as well as the ability to enter and prepare students for exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Vocal Music classes to Junior and Senior School girls
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Work collaboratively with the Music Department to support current events
  • Assist with the preparation of students for music exams

Requirements:

  • Current ABN and valid insurances
  • Professional indemnity insurance of not less than $10 million
  • Public liability insurance of not less than $10 million
