Oaks Sydney North Ryde Suites is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the role of Housekeeping Team Leader. This is a hands on full-time position, weekend work will be required.
Our housekeeping team pride themselves on providing efficient and professional cleanliness of the highest standard maintained throughout our properties.
**Job Description:**
We are looking for an exceptional leader to join our team as a Housekeeping Team Leader. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional cleaning services to our guests.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Demonstrate experience in team leadership of a housekeeping team
- Control and maintain operating supplies, replacements and consumables
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written
- Time management, deadline and organisational skills
- Strong eye for detail, and ability to follow procedures and set standards for cleanliness
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in housekeeping areas (in rooms, public and common areas)
- Build a productive and professional relationship with housekeeping staff
**Required Qualifications:**
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership of a housekeeping team
- Previous experience controlling and maintaining budgets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written
- Time management, deadline and organisational skills
- Strong eye for detail, and ability to follow procedures and set standards for cleanliness
