Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dynamic leader to coordinate grain operations and resources at our Rudall site. This role has operational responsibility for all storage and handling functions, including staff and systems performance. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering results.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating grain receival, storage, and outloading activities. They will manage a team of operational staff, providing guidance and support to achieve production targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of grain transactions, quality assessments, and operational reports. Additionally, the Operations Supervisor will enforce and champion safety protocols, ensuring a secure and compliant workplace. Other duties include coordinating stock movements, managing inventory, conducting equipment inspections, and facilitating facility maintenance. Furthermore, the role requires building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and cultivate lasting relationships with grower customers, ensuring exceptional service.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse workforce. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. You will also require proven experience in supervising a team and relevant operational experience, preferably gained in a bulk grain handling environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities is also crucial.
