Job Summary:

Ventia is seeking a skilled Sweeper Operator to join their Defence Base Services contract. As a key member of the Grounds Maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily sweeping of the Defence site, including runways, on both night and day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine road and site sweeping duties as scheduled;
  • Conduct general labouring duties as required;
  • Ensure road sweeping work meets management and customer standards;
  • Complete site inductions and accreditation for customer sites as necessary;
  • Perform start-up, wash-down, and routine maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current MR licence or higher;
  • Have a minimum of 3 years' truck driving experience;
  • Experience driving a manual operated truck;
  • Preferably possess a strong mechanical aptitude;
  • Be able to work autonomously while maintaining a company-driven focus.
