Professional Trainer Lead

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Technical Training team. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering technical training to apprentices across various disciplines.
Your key responsibilities will include leading a small team of trainers, coaching them in course material development and schedule planning, and maintaining competency records via corporate processes. You will also work closely with Trade Managers to identify, target, and prioritise training needs of staff.
Key performance indicators include ensuring all employees are appropriately licensed, hold relevant tickets, and complete mandatory safety and compliance training on time. You will drive a performance and safety culture by setting and monitoring standards and performance goals.
About the Role- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of training professionals through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Support Trade Training Timetables and apprentice rotations to deliver required training outcomes.
- Ensure accurate data entry for all apprentice competencies into corporate systems.
- Trade qualifications in the respective discipline and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment are desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of trade experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the Vocational Education and Training sector.
