About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in production operations, well engineering, process engineering, or reservoir engineering. A commitment to safety and environmental practices is essential, as is excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to optimize oil and gas production.
- Conduct site visits to monitor production operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Production Operations, Well Engineering, Process Engineering, or Reservoir Engineering.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Team-oriented, with demonstrated coaching and influencing abilities.
Benefits:
- $1000 per day, including superannuation.
- Monday to Friday work schedule.
- Initial 12-month contract with potential to extend.
- Brisbane CBD-based with intermittent travel required to Surat Basin sites.
