Equipment Maintenance Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance project in Victoria. This is a unique opportunity for career progression in a dynamic and growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect plant and equipment against legislative requirements, primary standards, and project-specific standards;
- Gather supporting information, upload into systems, and provide regular reports as required;
- Conduct compliance checks to ensure suppliers and project teams are notified of inspection expiry dates;
- Provide reports and data on plant safety and environmental management;
- Develop and deliver training programs for site teams on plant management and assessment;
- Assist with breakdown and maintenance management for plant and equipment;
- Monitor fuel utilisation and record data against each asset.
About the Position:
- Trade qualifications – Mechanical (Diesel Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic)
- Demonstrated track record in managing fleet maintenance, scheduling, and strategic planning;
- Experience in preventative maintenance, electrical diagnostics, and repairs of Civil/Mining Earthmoving Equipment;
- Strong communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders;
- Able to work proactively, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of meeting deadlines;
- Understanding of safe working practices relevant to the job role.
