About The Role
At The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Violence Case Manager Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women, children, and young people experiencing or having experienced family violence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver intensive support to clients through a holistic approach that addresses their complex needs and risk factors.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized plans to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic interventions.
- Provide education and advocacy to empower clients to take control of their lives and make informed decisions.
About You:
We are looking for a qualified social worker, welfare specialist, or psychologist with demonstrated experience in assessment, risk management, crisis intervention, and case management. You will have a strong understanding of the gendered and complex nature of family violence and be able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
