The estimated annual salary for this role is between $70,000 and $110,000 AUD, depending on experience.

Job Description:

As a Senior Cosmetic Formulation Scientist, you will be responsible for formulating existing and new products in a timely manner while ensuring quality and budget requirements are met.

You will produce formula samples in the laboratory following Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and perform experimental testing and trials on new formulations.

Additionally, you will provide manufacturing and upscale assistance and support, conduct stability testing, and communicate status updates on projects to the R&D Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary education in Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Formulation Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven work experience within R&D and formulation.
  • Proven work experience within the cosmetics industry.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
