About this role

Lander & Rogers is a leading independent law firm seeking a skilled Insurance Law Support Specialist to join their Insurance Law & Litigation Group.

The successful candidate will provide key assistance with various administrative and legal tasks, including preparing and formatting legal documents, proofreading and editing documents, and liaising with medical practitioners to request and obtain relevant clinical records.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and format legal documents and correspondence
  • Proofread and edit documents for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to legal standards
  • Liaise with medical practitioners to request and obtain relevant clinical records for litigation cases
  • Prepare and send digital requests for medical records, adhering to legal and privacy requirements
  • Prepare and issue subpoenas to the court to obtain relevant litigation materials
  • Review and diarise court orders and legal documents to identify important dates
  • Assist in the preparation of invoices and handle invoicing processes
  • Provide general administrative support and file organisation

About You

  • Successful applicants will bring administrative support experience and a working knowledge of MS Office suite of products and Adobe
  • Demonstrate exceptional working knowledge of MS Office suite of products and Adobe and a knowledge of document management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, spelling and grammar
  • Proven decision making and problem-solving ability
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
