The Opportunity

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract that offers a unique opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge and skills to contribute to the creation of innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

As a Graduate Engineer - Certification, you will work closely with experienced engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to support the product design lifecycle, from concepting to approval, and in-service technical support and change management.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of engineering specifications, reviewing designs against regulatory requirements, generating engineering reports, and making design updates under our customer support processes using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

You will also contribute to the implementation of design-for-compliance processes, conduct technical analyses, and collaborate on the resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the engineering team in high-quality compliance research, staying up to date with regulatory and advisory materials.
  • Be accountable for submitting high-quality work that is accurate and meets quality standards.
  • Assist with certification and design documentation.
  • Be responsible for the compliance verification of modifications and equipment.
  • Produce routine reports and documents from standard templates.
  • Report and process non-conformities.
  • Support the production team as required.
  • Maintain a professional and high standard of communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in aeronautical, aerospace, mechanical, mechatronic, computing, software, or electrical engineering.
  • 0 to 2 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
  • The energy, intelligence, and initiative to proactively overcome industries' toughest challenges.
  • The creativity, curiosity, and open-mindedness to explore alternative approaches, question conventional thinking, and adapt to change.
  • The people skills and collaborative focus that brings out the best in yourself and others within small, dynamic, multi-disciplinary teams.
