Revenue Manager Role Summary



This is a key leadership position within our hotel where you will drive revenue growth, develop strategies, and lead a team to achieve our revenue goals.



Key Responsibilities


  • Revenue Strategy Development: Create and implement revenue strategies to maximise hotel performance and returns.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of revenue professionals to drive revenue growth, develop strategies, and achieve our revenue goals.
  • Revenue Analysis: Analyse data and market trends to develop and implement nimble SMART strategies to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Distribution Management: Manage the distribution of hotel inventory to ensure maximum occupancy of the hotel.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Generate 13-month forecasting, online pricing planning, and availability, as well as prepare budgets and business plans.
  • Reporting and Review: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and attend owners' review meetings.
  • Rate Strategy Development: Drive proactive rate strategy development and implementation to achieve our properties' goals.
  • RevMax Meetings: Lead fortnightly RevMax meetings to detail hotel revenue strategies and lead departments to be accountable for their contribution to revenue.


Requirements


  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role with an exceptional understanding of revenue management principles and proven success as a revenue professional.
  • Passion: Passion about revenue and hotels, with a winning drive to share with others.
  • Communication: Exceptional proactive communication skills, both verbal and written, to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills and time management skills.
  • Technical Skills: A flair for Excel and PowerPoint, with working proficiency in Word and Outlook.
  • Resourcefulness: Resourcefulness and curiosity to innovate.
  • Leadership: Proactive, customer-focused, and a collaborative leader.
