About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Companion to join our team at Mercy Aged and Community Care Ltd. As a Care Companion, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to residents, including activities of daily living, meal preparation, and household duties.
  • Work effectively within a team environment to promote a positive and supportive care culture.
  • Participate in leisure activities and promote the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
  • Undertake care and documentation to the highest standard.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Previous experience in cooking or working in a hospitality environment.
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support.
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance.
  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination, and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
