ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will oversee a team ranging from 3 to 10 members, ensuring effective planning and distribution of daily tasks. This role demands physical activity, including frequent heavy lifting, and emphasizes the importance of maintaining a safe work environment by educating and guiding your team on safety protocols and procedures.

Your leadership will ensure that your team consistently delivers outstanding customer service, making it a priority to ensure every customer departs with satisfaction.

Safety is a critical focus at Amart Furniture. In your managerial capacity, you are expected to promote the significance of safety at all times. You will actively participate in the safety management system by identifying potential hazards and collaborating with the Safety Advisor to assess safe work practices. It is your responsibility to guarantee that your team is well-trained in all relevant safety procedures and adheres to them diligently.

ABOUT YOU

Your prior experience in leadership or supervisory roles within a warehouse setting will contribute to your success in this position. You will lead by example, encouraging your team to enhance their skills by pinpointing areas for development and acknowledging their achievements.

With a constant influx of large inventory items, you must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to engage with your team.
