Procurement Coordinator Role

This exciting opportunity exists for a Procurement Coordinator to provide purchasing assistance and contract coordination support.

  • Purchasing Support: Assist in delivering accurate and timely transactional services including accounts payable and purchasing.
  • Contract Administration: Process major supplier invoices and associated data for analysis and reporting.
  • Vendor Management: Assist in vendor set-up and ensure timely vendor communication.
  • Closing Operations: Deliver the period close across accounting systems in-line with the monthly timetable.
  • Purchasing Coordination: Coordinate purchasing and invoice approval and processing.
  • Query Resolution: Resolve internal and external purchasing and accounts payable queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Optimization: Optimise and document processes and workflows.
  2. Issue Escalation: Ensure issues are escalated in a timely manner.
  3. Team Collaboration: Contribute to team success by working collaboratively with team members.
  4. Contract Lifecycle: Coordinate and administer contract lifecycle processes.
  5. Analysis: Perform analysis in the contract space.
  6. Register Maintenance: Maintain the contract register to ensure it is up to date.

  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated communication skills.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in dealing with organisation leadership.
  • Time Management: Demonstrated time management skills.
