Company Overview: A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage experienced Cyber Security Analysts to join a highly multidisciplinary team.

Estimated Salary: $60-$80 per hour

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an expert in monitoring the ICT environment's key systems to aid in identifying and remediating cyber security related incidents.
  • The successful candidate will work together with the internal ICT team and business areas to communicate about security limitations and produce documentation or reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and analysing cyber security related data to identify the root of attacks against the ICT environment and key electoral systems.
  • Implementing required cyber security actions to counter attacks and restore system operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience using Sentinel or a similar SIEM solution is essential.
  • Familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual.
  • Familiarity with best practice cyber security monitoring processes.
  • Experience in cyber incident response.

Benefits: This is a great opportunity to work with a Federal Government Department and be part of a supportive team. The initial contract is for 31st December 2025 with 24-month extension options.
