We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Custody Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of detainees, while also providing a supportive and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities- Transport and supervise detainees during critical activities
- Participate in court activities for security requirements
- Manage conflict and communicate with empathy, making a positive impact on the lives of detainees
- Value diversity and display a fair and open-minded attitude towards detainees in custody
- Provide safety and security for Persons in Custody, staff, employees, and members of the public
- Perform walking and mobile patrols of a designated area
- Supervise people in custody, escort them to appointments or court appearances, and maintain accurate records
- Availability to train full time for 6 weeks in Perth (Fully Funded)
- Commitment to a minimum of 12 months to obtain qualifications
- The legal right to work in Australia
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug & alcohol test
