The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Solution Designer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing network solutions that meet the needs of our organization. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures for our enterprise environment.
Your Responsibilities
• Design and implement network solutions that meet business objectives and align with industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams during the design, implementation, and integration of network solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies, hardware, and services that align with long-term business needs.
• Ensure network designs incorporate robust security protocols and are compliant with relevant standards and policies.
• Oversee capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization efforts to ensure network stability and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, policies, and standards for network architecture.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of network technologies, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, MPLS, wireless networks, and cloud networking. You will also need to have hands-on experience in Cisco, Ubiquiti, Salto, and other major network providers. Additionally, you will need to have a highly organized mindset, with the ability to assess the urgency of work allocated to you by various stakeholders while working closely with our established IT Team.
