What You Will Be Doing:

The Lived Experience Development & Co-design Lead works within the Lived Experience Leadership Team to coordinate the development of the PHMHWS Lived Experience Workforce. This includes Peer Workers, Consultants, and new/emerging LE roles. The position leads and coordinates engagement and consultation with the PHMHWS LEW, Consumers, and their Carers, Families/Kin. This is a key pillar of the Lived Experience Leadership Team's work to ensure these perspectives guide, inform, and are included in all aspects of PHMHWS governance, design, and delivery.

Position Requirements:
  • Must have and be willing to work from a lived experience of mental health concerns/psychological distress and/or co-occurring MH/AOD concerns.
  • Must have and be willing to declare and work from a Lived Experi(Consumer or Family/Carer)ence
  • Expertise, qualifications, demonstrated experience in Lived Experience leadership, co-design/co-production, community development, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated high-level co-ordination, communication, and interpersonal skills, particularly in facilitating groups, meetings, and consultations across organisations (including LE and non-LE professionals).
