Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our team in Brisbane. As a permanent full-time employee, you will be working 38 hours a week and have the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting tradespeople with general labouring tasks, preparation, and cleaning duties within a shipyard setting as directed by your supervisor or coordinator.

You will also participate in Confined Space Entry, Sentry, and Fire Sentry duties, assist with docking evolution, and ensure adherence to all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong teamwork and communication skills, be able to work autonomously or as part of a team, and hold a current driver's license. A forklift license, EWP + 11m, Working at Heights, Confined Space, and First Attack Fire Fighting Equipment experience are highly desirable but not essential.
