About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Systems Integration Specialist to join our team in a collaborative and dynamic environment. As a key member of our Defence engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the integration of engineering changes into naval vessel systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and production support for integrating engineering changes into naval vessel systems.
  • Lead design and engineering projects related to implementing these changes.
  • Provide Field and Production Engineering support for engineering modifications.
  • Assist in developing System Isolations and Production Safety Notices for installation.
  • Contribute to the creation of Work Instructions.
  • Manage Problem Identification Reports (PIRs) and oversee Production Variations Approvals.
  • Coordinate testing and trial programs to support Verification and Validation (V&V) engineering activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in the ship building / ship sustainment industry.
  • Proven experience in an engineering role, or maritime production supervision role.
  • Experience in ship modifications, ship repairs or ship production supervision.
  • Bachelors of Engineering Degree, or proven experience in ship refit and repairs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1.
  • Australian Citizenship is required due to the nature of the project.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience in the Defence or Naval sector is highly regarded.
