Job Opportunity: Cook/Chef in Childcare
We are seeking a skilled Cook/Chef to join our team in childcare settings across Stepney and surrounding suburbs.
This role offers the perfect blend of cooking skills and childcare experience, with no weekend work or late-night shifts. As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing up to 3 meals per day for a large number of children.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for children in a childcare setting
- Menu planning and nutrition guidance
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Available a minimum of 2 shifts per week
- Willingness to travel to different locations around your area
- Australian work rights and a willingness to gain your state-based Working with Children Card

Compensation Package:
The estimated salary range for this role is between $55,000 to $70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
