The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex network architecture projects and driving strategic growth initiatives. You will have extensive experience in managing large-scale networks, including MPLS, IP Transit, and IP Peering connected fabrics. Your expertise in carrier-grade technologies such as IS-IS, BGP, Route-Reflection, L3 VPN, L2 VPN, VPLS, BGP, EVPN, LDP, Segment-Routing, and port-aggregation is essential. Additionally, you will have a deep understanding of Fortinet network security fabrics and data centre hyperscale technology exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of network architecture strategies aligned with BlueAPACHE's growth and expansion plans.
  • Oversee the operational excellence of the network platform, ensuring smooth operations and enabling features such as Zero Touch Provisioning, fault remediation, and adherence to industry-based quality and governance standards.
  • Maintain current MPLS platform, network architecture, and risk registers to identify strengths/weaknesses and ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage the existing Fortinet network security stack, lifecycle management, feature roadmaps, and uptime.
  • Drive network automation transformation to improve efficiency, time to value for clients, and reduce risk.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, providing timely and appropriate solutions to defined client opportunities.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Education or equivalent industry experience in Information Technology.
  • CCIE certification or equivalent experience.
  • Fortinet Certified Professional or at least three Fortinet Certified Solutions Specialist certifications.
  • Extensive experience as a senior network architect/engineer within a service provider environment.
  • Has built and supported an MPLS network.
  • Has operated edge border routers with IP Transit and IP Peering connected fabrics.
