**Job Summary**

Peakline Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team in Bohle Townsville, QLD. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for undertaking metal trade construction and maintenance in our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake metal trade construction and maintenance in the workshop
  • Perform general boilermaking duties, including the use of grinders, cutting, welding (GMAW, TIG, Stick), polishing, cropping, pressing, heat treatment, and stress relieving of steels
  • Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that any documentation is completed on time
  • Complete works to specified drawings
  • Ensure safe operating and procedural manuals are adhered to
  • Ensure that the workshop, tools, and equipment under the control of the employee are well maintained and in good operational condition
  • Assist in the training and supervision of apprentices
  • Participate in all Pre-Starts, Toolbox Talks, JSA's, and other safety-related activities
  • Refresh and complete all relevant training, required for site and workshop works

Requirements:

Salary Range: $73,150 to $75,000 per year

Fulltime and Permanent Position
