Technical Specialist Opportunity

This role involves working as a skilled software developer to create, maintain and improve front-end and back-end applications using .NET Core and Azure App Services.

The ideal candidate will have solid skills in C# .NET Core and T-SQL, with at least 5 years' experience in software development. They should also be familiar with or React, plus JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Exposure to Azure App Services is desirable, along with a commitment to precise communication, both in technical documentation and when working with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications using .NET Core, (or React), and Azure App Services.

  • Gain valuable exposure to Azure cloud services and pipelines, with opportunities to expand your skills in DevOps and cloud-based architectures.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by proactively identifying and implementing enhancements, performance optimisations, and bug fixes.

  • Deliver precise, well-documented code and technical solutions that are clear, maintainable, and align with governance frameworks.

  • Engage with stakeholders and team members through clear, concise communication - explaining complex ideas simply, both verbally and in writing.

  • Champion best practices in secure coding, technical governance, and documentation to ensure high-quality, reliable solutions.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives, contributing to a collaborative, forward-thinking team environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in software development, preferably with a focus on front-end and back-end systems.

  • Familiarity with or React, plus JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Understanding of Azure App Services, including its features and capabilities.
