As a Data Solution Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how data drives decision-making across our organisation.
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the design and delivery of scalable data solutions. This permanent role offers a flexible hybrid work model, allowing you to balance your work and personal life effectively.
You will be responsible for designing and delivering data models that support analytics and reporting needs, as well as creating user stories and contributing to agile delivery. Your expertise in SQL and DBT will enable you to build fit-for-purpose data models, while your knowledge of IIA business domains will help you understand our organisation's specific requirements.
In addition to your technical skills, we value excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You will work closely with business and technology teams to gather requirements, design scalable data models, and deliver value through data products.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Gathering and refining data requirements with business and technology teams
- Designing scalable data models using SQL and DBT to support analytics and day-to-day operations
- Creating user stories and contributing to the agile delivery of data products
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 5+ years' experience in data analysis or solution delivery, with ability to translate business needs into actionable insights and data solutions
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and DBT, with hands-on experience using BigQuery and Cloud Composer
- Skilled in complex data analysis, including AI techniques to support decision-making
- Proficient in Tableau or similar tools for reporting and visualization; able to communicate findings to stakeholders
