Job Title

The role of Director Amphibious Combat and Support is a senior leadership position responsible for driving strategy, business development, and project delivery within the program of work.

This involves overseeing and supporting all aspects of the scope of services, including effective HSE and quality management, technical assurance, and financial control of the ACS CLCM program.

  • Initiating and setting goals for the CLCM according to the strategic objectives of the Enterprise.
  • Supervision and authorisation of strategic CLCM decisions.
  • Inspiring the organisation and influencing developments within the industry at the highest levels.
  • Advancing knowledge and exploitation of technology within the CLCM.
  • Development of long term strategic relationships with customers, partners, subcontractors and key support organisations in the CLCM.
  • Responsible for stewardship across the Enterprise.
  • Accountable to Executive Authority for Technical Risk Management, Continuous Improvement and Performance Analysis across the Enterprise.
Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in project management, engineering, business management/administration or equivalent. Strong maritime background experience is also required.

Extensive professional experience in project or program management within the Defence domain is essential. Comprehensive experience in managing Tier 1 maritime sustainment services is also necessary.

Experience using Earned Value Management techniques and significant experience in management of major programs comprised of multidisciplinary teams are also desirable.

Leadership and communication skills are crucial for this role.

Must hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance.
