Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Haematology & Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. As a member of this high-acuity unit, you will be responsible for providing advanced, evidence-based nursing care for individuals with complex hematologic conditions.
Responsibilities:- Deliver compassionate and empathetic patient care, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize medical equipment as required, adhering to hospital policies and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records, including medication administration records, vital signs, and treatment plans.
- Degree-qualified Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Proven experience in Haematology and/or stem cell transplant nursing, preferably in a high-acuity setting.
- Clinical excellence, emotional resilience, and strong communication skills.
