Position

This is a challenging and dynamic role within an Emergency Medicine Department where you will be exposed to a diverse range of cases. The department prioritizes teaching and continual education, enabling you to work closely with leading Consultants who are dedicated to your growth and development.

Hospital Overview

Our hospital is a major 367-bed facility with two sites: a public facility comprising 307 beds and a co-located private facility with 60 beds. The key services include the emergency department, critical care unit, day chemotherapy unit, aged care and stroke ward, maternity ward, mental health unit, and surgical and medical wards.

Learning Environment

We foster a collaborative learning environment that provides excellent access to medical technology and specialist colleagues. This enables one-on-one or small group training, placing a strong emphasis on educational experience.

Requirements

  • Completion of Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent qualifications
  • Advanced Trainees in their final six months
  • International Medical Graduates with substantially comparable qualifications
