Senior Water Engineer

This senior engineering position involves leading projects to enhance water security, overseeing regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement in infrastructure management. The successful candidate will travel throughout the Torres Strait Islands managing water and wastewater infrastructure ensuring safe reliable services.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a degree in Civil Mechanical or Environmental Engineering. Possession of industry experience and membership with Engineers Australia is desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project teams that improve water quality and reliability
- Travel throughout the Torres Strait Islands managing operations maintenance and improvements
- Collect analyze and report data to stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise guidance to internal and external teams
- Bachelor level qualifications in Civil Mechanical or Environmental Engineering
- Demonstrated industry experience in water and/or wastewater operations
- Eligibility for Membership of Engineers Australia (or equivalent Professional Institution)
