Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team in QLD. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing inventory supply and forecasting, driving efficiency and quality throughout the supply chain, and building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish performance metrics for supply chain tracking and develop policies to increase efficiency while ensuring quality and safety of delivery.
  • Manage inventory supply and forecasting, driving towards best practice principles to achieve cost objectives and excellence in service levels.
  • Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements in collaboration with other departments.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with key functional areas of the business, including procurement, operations, and logistics.
  • Develop a good working culture that embraces standard operating procedure compliance, continuous improvement, idea generation, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Establish relationships with global forwarders and suppliers to ensure smooth product supply.

Requirements

  • Hold a Degree in Business or Supply Chain or related discipline.
  • Experience within the rail, defence, transportation, or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience in leading all areas of supply chain from planning through to delivery.
  • Previous experience working with ERP systems, such as Maximo or SAP.
