Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Kinetic IT is seeking a skilled and versatile Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our high-performing on-site team supporting a Federal Government customer. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact within a federal government environment, while developing your cloud and modern workplace skills alongside a team of experienced professionals.

You will play a key role in managing and integrating hybrid infrastructure environments – spanning on-premises systems, Azure VMware Solution, and Azure native services.

About the Role
  • Provide expert Level 3 support across Windows Server and cloud platforms.
  • Administer and maintain hybrid infrastructure: on-prem, AVS, and Azure-native.
  • Integrate services with third-party providers including WAN and secure internet gateways.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across SIAM-aligned processes.
  • Partner with the service desk and desktop teams to support a modern M365 environment.
  • Support infrastructure transformation aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and hub-and-spoke topologies.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with Windows Server 2016–2022.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in the Azure Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency with VMware environments.
  • Knowledge of Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
  • Azure networking and hub-and-spoke topology.
  • Virtual server management and application services.
  • Familiarity with the Cloud Adoption Framework.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Power Automate.
  • Certifications: MS900, MS102, AZ900, AZ104.
  • NV1 Security Clearance - as you will be supporting a Federal Government customer.
